Join us for the fourth session of our reading group on Socialist Reconstruction: A Better Future, Published by the Party for Socialism and Liberation, where we will discuss chapters 5 and 6.

This group meets every two weeks on Tuesdays from 6:30-8pm.

Socialize with socialists this month at Late Addition Brewing in Northside! Cocktails with Comrades is our monthly rotating happy hour around the city of Pittsburgh. Not a member? No problem! These happy hours are open to anyone on the left, bring friends!

BAC will be having an additional meeting this month to focus on ideas for Pride Month (June)! Come on by if you have ideas on activities/campaigns we should do. Meeting is over Zoom, RSVP for details.

Since we will be meeting indoors in our smaller office area for a short while without food, we will require masking at this event. We will have masks on hand that you can use.

We may meet up afterwards at a nearby restaurant to continue hanging :)

Join us on Malcolm X's birthday to discuss his iconic piece, "Ballot or the Bullet". Given in the context of the 1964 presidential election, it advocates for both the strategic use of the ballot and for the possibility of violent resistance to the state. Most importantly, it elucidates his ideas concerning Black Nationalism, and is in fact a key part of the development of that ideology and the people that were to follow him. Be sure to join us!
