- Come to lend a hand (we pack up leftovers to bring to other food distros and need folks to setup/teardown and welcome guests)

Pittsburgh DSA hosts a monthly happy hour for workers to gather, build bonds across workplaces, and talk about organizing. We will be meeting at East End Brewing from 6:30-9pm. Bring a co-worker, invite your unionized friends and your yet-to-be-organized friends, and enjoy the solidarity!

PGH DSA's Political Education Committee is hosting a reading group for Marx's Inferno, by William Clare Roberts.
Even if you haven't read Capital, this book will be an enlightening journey into the different theories of socialism prevalent in Marx's later adult life. How did republican political movements and the fight for democracy interact with the rise of industrial capitalism? Who were Marx's major theoretical opponents on the Left? What was Capital meant to do for its readers, and how has it been received? We'll discuss all these questions and more during this reading group.

Planning meeting for the February 28th benefit

Control of our own bodies is a fundamental human right which is frequently under attack by fascists. The Bodily Autonomy Committee strives to realize bodily autonomy for all individuals through reproductive freedom and freedom for individuals to choose how their bodies align to their genders.

This committee meets the first Thursday of every month. Members and guests are both welcome to join our meetings and events!

Join us for a New Member Orientation, open to non-members! Learn what DSA is doing to meet the current political moment and how you can get involved in our movement.
