RSVP for our Chapter Convention
Our annual chapter convention is here! Pittsburgh DSA will be convening its highest decision-making body on September 19th! This convention will elect our new chapter officers and coordinating committee, and decide major chapter business.
Similarly to our general meetings, the first hour of the chapter convention will be dedicated to welcoming members and socializing, coffee and breakfast snacks will be provided. The zoom room will open at 9:45am and we shall officially begin at 10am on September 19th. There will be a 1 hour break for lunch.
Details on nomination for officer and coordinating committee positions will be provided to members in the inbox of their registered email with DSA. Proposed bylaw amendments and resolutions submitted for consideration at Convention must be submitted to the Coordinating Committee (via email) by September 3. All amendments to the submitted resolutions and bylaws amendments shall be submitted by September 8.
Members should keep an eye on their inbox throughout the next month as more details emerge about the convention!

Join us for a New Member Orientation, open to non-members! Learn what DSA is doing to meet the current political moment and how you can get involved in our movement. (Please note, exact date and time of next meeting is listed in the RSVP form below.)
The orientation will be a quick hour and a half with opportunities to get to know members and ask us questions! We may also go out for food together afterward if folks want.
